KNOCK ON ANY DOOR

In 2012, KNOCK ON ANY DOOR was published, TARNER : A BRIGHTON NEIGHBOURHOOD REMEMBERED, RECORDED AND RECREATED

As detailed in it's introduction;

In 2009 volunteers suggested we should start collecting the memories and experiences of the local community. That initial idea evolved into an investigation into the clearances and demolition of the Tarner area, capturing the memories of the participants, and providing an understanding of how Brighton has developed. This book and the website we have created are a record of the untold history of a place and a people on the edge of one of England’s most vibrant cities.
